Delegation from Thuringia in Unterach

In the course of a Thuringian economic mission to Austria, the Minister of Economics Wolfgang Tiefensee visited the EVER Pharma Headquarters in Unterach, Austria, on 05 July 2021. The aim of the delegation is to deepen the economic and technological cooperation between Thuringia and Austria. “Even though Austria is virtually on our doorstep, there is still enormous potential here and interesting points of contact for more intensive cooperation,” said Tiefensee.

In 2011, EVER Pharma set its footprint in Thuringia and built a strategic pharmaceutical platform with a focus on the development and production of sterile injectable drugs. EVER Pharma invested 200 million euros in state-of-the-art production facilities in Jena and additionally created more than 250 attractive and long-term jobs in the pharmaceutical industry.
